 Der 15. Jahrestag der faktischen Abschaffung des Grundrechts auf Asyl (sogenannter "Asylkompromiss") ist für uns Anlass, unsere Forderungen nach einem globalen Recht auf Migration lautstark auf die Straße zu bringen. Wir leben im Herzen der Festung Europa und es reicht längst nicht mehr, das deutsche Grundrecht auf Asyl zurückzufordern. Alle Menschen müssen die Möglichkeit haben, vor Verfolgung und Armut zu fliehen. Alle Menschen müssen die Möglichkeit haben, dort zu leben, wo sie es möchten und wie sie möchten. Mit allen Rechten, die dazugehören.

Die Flüchtlinge im Lager Katzhütte am Rand des Thüringer Waldes wehren sich gegen die misserablen Bedingungen, in denen sie Leben müssen. Sie fordern nicht mehr und nicht weniger als die Schließung des in völliger Isolation gelegenen Lagers und das Recht in eigenen Wohnungen zu leben. Ende Februar machten sie in einer offenen Erklärung ihre Lebensumstände öffentlich und luden am 11. März zu einem Besuch des Lagers ein. Die Heimleitung versuchte daraufhin die geplante Pressekonferenz zu unterbinden und die Besucher_innen mit Hilfe der Polizei am Betreten des Lagers zu hindern, was ihr jedoch misslang. Dem Ansprechpartner der Flüchtlinge für die Presse wird mittlerweile die Abschiebung angedroht. Im folgenden dokumentieren wir die Erklärung der Bewohner_innen des Flüchtlingsheims und geben einige Artikel zum Weiterlesen an. |

Partial time integration course for women starting at the middle of January 2008 |

The anti-discrimination office (ADB)is authorized by the Federal Office for migration and refugees (BAMF) to offer promoted integration courses. The ADB offers integration courses for women presumably in the middle of January.
The course is a partial time course for women only. Presumably it is distributed on two mornings, 6 hours per week ). The course begins with the stage A1 GER (none or very small knowledge of the German language). It will begin in a slow rate of learning and will last until May 2008 (100 lessons). The course is accomplished by a trained teacher for German as foreign language. |

The anti-discrimination office offers a German course for participants with small or no previous knowledge. The course addresses itself in particular to those, which have no authorization for the participation in integration courses. It's goal is to develop the linguistic abilities which are needed in the everyday life. The course is led by a native speaker and a trained teacher for German as foreign language. |

Your ID, please!” Daniel was astonished and looked at the two men who were suddenly standing in front of him. Some moments ago he accompanied Thomas and Luc to the busstop. After the training they went for a drink, now Daniel was totally tired and he had no idea what the men wanted from him. |
